PUJAN PATEL • પુજન પટેલ

Pujan Patel is a

with a background in media, advocacy, and digital design, based in Miami, FL.

Combining their undergraduate educational background with passion for visual communication (and an intensely curious approach), they build campaigns and identities for community-centered organizations— driving not only strong metrics, but lasting cultural cachet.

Pujan’s practice is rooted in the belief that design is intenional and powerful enough to invoke reflection, to challenge oneself, and to empower changemaking. Without intention & reverence for the people and context it aims to serve, these creations risk becoming hollow.

They approach to combat this by taking an interdisciplinary approach: prioritizing storytelling and the communities served, from ideation to execution.

2. DESIGN & IDEOLOGY: interview

Part of the Forms of Inquiry Exhibition by Experimental
Jetset

The interview linked was very informative in the self-evaluation of my praxis & balancing with personal ideology -- a worthy read.

3. TYPES FOR TODAY & TOMORROW: specimen book

Type book released by
Gujarati Type Foundry

Informing my creative practice and aesthetic sensibilities also included perusing through dated specimens of type aesthetics from Gujarati creatives across the 20th century.
